With the aim of providing a better environment and opportunities to learn, Kokkomen Preschool introduced “Hikma Program”, and under this program a Field trip was arranged to bright stars of our Kokkomen Preschool to the Islamic Centre this.
Under the “Hikma Program” the students of Kokkomen Preschool visited Islamic Centre of Maldives, this morning. During the visit, students had a tour around the Centre, and were briefed about the importance of Salah (Prayer) and How to perform Salah.
During today’s field trip of Kokkomen Preschool, students visited the “Islamic Library” located in the Islamic Centre. During their visit to the library, the students were taught about the benefits of reading, as it can direct their brain to think more and help them to develop their core personality traits and to develop their knowledge.
At the end of the visit of the students of Kokkomen Preschool to Islamic Centre they had a creativity session, which was to make a free drawing from the things they understood and learned from the tour. This is to help the students to develop their skill on appreciation for observation, and to encourage the them to learn about the designed environment.
This field trip was conducted under the new initiated program of Kokkomen PreSchool, Hikma Program.
