Welcome to Kokkomen Preschool. On behalf of Kokkomen Preschool, we are glad to become acquainted with you and assist you to succeed in your educational journey. We aim to become the leading preschool in the Maldives that provides integrated education.

The world needs early childhood education that encompasses all moral and ethical principles. The curricula of Kokkomen Preschool is not only in compliance with Maldives national curriculum but also embedded with Islamic values and ethical principles. Pertinent broad categories of those values include academic excellence, Islamic values and ethics, health and physical well-being of the students, teaching both Islamic and national cultures among the students, students’ social well-being, and coaching social skills that are needed at the infant stage.

Our learning environment is prepared with all the necessary equipments that caters to students’ needs. Usage of science and technology is an essential part of our life. Therefore, all the required skills and knowledge of science, communication, and technology will be shared with students in a fun and enjoyable environment. To achieve this, our staff are professionally trained in the pedagogy of early childhood education, and inclusive education.

As a young institution, Kokkomen preschool provides learning in different levels of preschools: playgroup, baby nursery, nursery, junior kindergarten (JKG), and senior kindergarten (SKG).

We shall transfer the knowledge and skills to the students with the help of specially designed books based on the national curriculum that is integrated with Islamic values. Even at this early stage of education, our students will be taught and encouraged to think critically and explore all the knowledge that is beneficial to mankind and Ummah based on several verses of the Quran to seek knowledge.

Our teaching pedagogy will also include values such as being compassionate to all living things not only human beings but also animals. The significance of protecting our environment, marine life, and ecology is also included in our curriculum.
