To promote and motivate our students with multilingual education based on the mother tongue from the earliest years of schooling, we celebrated the International Mother Language Day. Here are some of the captures from the Celebration.
We started off the day with the assembly for the SKGs and JKGs with the special guest Mohamed Saleem, a well respected educator and a professional in linguistic approaches who specially loves ‘Dhivehi’.
He highlighted why mother language is important in early years and the richness of ‘Dhivehi’ language, noting the importance of loving it. He also added that we as Maldivians, should find happiness in having our own language!
Thank You Mohamed Saleem for accepting the invitation, our students were keen in learning new words and we value the time spent with us.
Our students had an enjoyable day, heartfelt gratitude for our beloved parents for your endless support and specially sending them so amazingly elegant in their special national attires.
