Avid College and Kokkomen Preschool have signed a Memorandum of Understating to collaborate and provide mutual support in educational endeavours.
The MoU was signed during a special ceremony conducted to commemorate the event, which was attended by many senior officials from both the organisations. The agreement was signed Kokkomen preschool’s chairman, Dr Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, and the Avid College Chairman, Mr. Abdulla Musthaag, representing their respective institutions.
Under this agreement, the college would conduct free training of the preschool staff, and would grant the staff of the school to avail a 15% discount if they choose to enrol in any program at Avid College. Further, the college has also offered a free scholarship to the school.
Additionally, as per the agreement, students studying under the Early Childhood Education program at the college have the opportunity to undergo their training in the preschool.
Avid college was established in 2005, and is currently one of the fastest growing private higher education providers in the Maldives.
