Kokkomen Preschool has begun Star activity for the Senior Kindergarten (SKG) students for this year.
The little stars were welcomed to the organisation in a special ceremony held in the preschool today. They were introduced to the rules they must adhere by, and was followed with a fun game for the girls. The students were very keen and excited about starting their guiding journey.
Stars is the youngest branch of the Maldives Girl Guide Association (MGGA), which is the largest voluntary, non-profit organisation for girls and young women in Maldives. As Stars, the girls will have the chance to hone their initiative and leadership skills, which will equip them to assume civic responsibility, learn a wide range of skills and be self-reliant and disciplined.
