A team of Kokkomen Preschool teachers have travelled to Turkey on an experience enrichment trip.
The team of five teachers from Kokkomen Preschool went on the trip during the midterm break, from 11th to 18th October 2022. As a part of this tour, they visited many of Turkey’s iconic locations such as the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul.
The school team also made a trip to Tuzdur, which is a centre that specialises in gifted children of ages 2 to 12. Tuzdur provides mind stimulating games and other necessities needed to develop students’ intelligence and assess students’ mental abilities and cater individually to each student’s needs. The Kokkomen Preschool teachers got a hands-on experience on the services they provide for the children.
Furthermore, the school team also visited one of the biggest libraries in Turkey, where they got information regarding the available books and their publishing process. The team received multiple books as gifts, including those published by the library, which are used to provide Islamic Values Education.
This trip was a crucial learning opportunity for the educators that allowed them to gain vital knowledge while also interacting with the beautiful cultural heritage of Turkey.
